About the university
The Intercontinental University (Unica) has existed since November 2008 and its facilities operate in Palmarejo, Praia city. It is UNICA's mission to promote teaching, scientific research and the dissemination of knowledge in the area of Health, health technologies and Sport, and in other areas, in addition to contributing, through its own means, to health improvement And the quality of life of the population. The qualification of these cadres is based on a formative structure that allows to convey the values of solidarity and mutual aid, aiming at a more humane social and professional awareness, to solve some burning problems that some communities are experiencing.
