Shanxi Medical University is located in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, China, a public medical university, the competent department of Shanxi Province Department of Education. Was founded in 1919; in 1932 changed its name to the private Shanxi Sichuan to the medical college, after the incorporation of the National University of Shanxi; 1946 the establishment of the National University of Shanxi School of Medicine; 1953 September, independent school, Changed its name to Shanxi Medical College; in April 1996 to now the school name. The school is also located outside of Taiyuan Fenyang College and Jinci College two affiliated colleges.
