About the university
Xinzhou Teachers University (Xinzhou Teachers University) was founded in 1958, the Ministry of Education approved in 2000 the provincial full-time ordinary undergraduate normal colleges. College for the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance in 2007 to determine the first batch of national "talent training model innovation experimental zone." June 2008 successfully passed the first round of the Ministry of education undergraduate teaching evaluation, to obtain "good" results. "Local Normal University personnel training model comprehensive reform" project won the sixth session of the national higher education national teaching achievement prize two. 2012 won the State Council awarded the "national 'two base' work advanced unit" honorary title. The college is located in the Buddhist holy places in Shanxi Province Wutai Mountain at the foot of Xinzhou City, 70 km from the provincial capital Taiyuan, 38 km from the Wutaishan Airport.
