The school was founded in 1979, with a construction area of 29290 square meters. The school has a professional professional medical and health category, set the pharmaceutical, biotechnology pharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical food inspection, Chinese medicine, pharmaceutical technology and pharmaceutical equipment maintenance and other six professional, under the 11 professional direction. The school and the Shanghai Health Medical College to carry out food and drug supervision and management professional, biopharmaceutical technology professional high vocational pilot, and the Shanghai University of Applied Technology to carry out the pharmaceutical engineering in the pilot.
