About the university
Jilin Institute of Physical Education was established in 1958, is located in a beautiful environment, four distinct seasons of Changchun City , Jilin Province, Jilin Province is the only one higher sports professional institutions. With the comprehensive reform of higher education management system, in 2004, approved by the Jilin Provincial People's Government , the original Jilin Provincial Sports School into the Jilin Institute of Physical Education. The school has two campuses Nanling and Linhe, covers an area of 627,000 square meters. The existing staff of nearly 600 people, all kinds of full-time students more than 7,000 people. There is a good faculty, of which more than 200 senior titles teachers, with a doctorate or master's degree in the proportion of teachers to 70%.
