About the university
Shandong Art Institute, referred to as mountain art, was founded in August 1958, is a comprehensive art of Shandong Province, located in Jinan City, Shandong Province. One of the six major arts colleges in China, for the country to recruit and train all kinds of art talent, is the Ministry of Education set the 31 independent set of undergraduate art institutions. School formerly known as Shandong Art College, in December 1978, approved by the State Council, the school was converted to Shandong Art Institute, set up undergraduate professional. January 13, 2016, the Shandong Provincial Government and the Ministry of Culture formally signed an agreement to build, Shandong Art Institute upgraded to the province to build colleges and universities.
