Established in 1988, Université Libre de Kinshasa (Free University of Kinshasa) is a higher education institution located in the metropolis of Kinshasa (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited/recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et Universitaire, République Démocratique du Congo (Ministry of Higher Education, Democratic Republic of the Congo), Université Libre de Kinshasa (ULK) is a coeducational higher education institution. Université Libre de Kinshasa (ULK) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. ULK also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
