About the university
Protestant university in Congo is a confessional university. It organizes its courses in four faculties: Faculty of Theology, Faculty of Business and Economics (FASE), Faculty of Law and Faculty of Medicine. With nearly 8,000 students, it constitutes "a francophone university lung" 1. 1959: Creation of the faculty of Protestant theology, institution of university education, under the initiative of the Protestant Church in the Congo (Church of the Christ in Congo). 1989: Opening of the faculty of human sciences next to the faculty of theology, forming the Protestant faculties in Zaire). 1994: On the decision of the board of directors, the Protestant faculties in Zaire become the Protestant university in the Congo, with the transformation of the faculty of the human sciences into the faculty of administration of business and economics and the introduction of the faculty by right. 2006: Creation of the Faculty of Medicine. 2009: Creation of the Congolese-German microfinance center one of the five centers of excellence of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) 2013: Signature of the partnership with the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management for the creation of a "Central Africa Europe Business School
