About the university
The mission of the Zagreb University of Applied Sciences is to train students to become highly-qualified experts in the area of technical activities and to compete successfully in the labour market. The Zagreb University of Applied Sciences fully relies on its teachers and associates in carrying out its study programmes. They are highly qualified experts, especially those coming from the entrepreneurship area, providing students with valuable practical knowledge. Teaching methods applied are diverse and creative and they include the obligatory practical work in every study programme. The practical work is performed in eminent companies. While being there students take an active part in current projects, perform various tasks and solve problems. Study programmes at the Zagreb University of Applied Sciences are organized in accordance with the Rule book, each semester is enrolled separately and students’ work is continually supervised (exams, homework, etc.). Th ere is also a possibility for students to be exempted from taking the fi nal exam, depending on the results achieved during the semester. Teaching at the Zagreb University of Applied Sciences is bound to the latest technologies (giving power-point presentations, teaching materials being available on the Web pages, using e-mail to contact teachers…).
