About the university
College of European and Regional Studies, the first and largest private university in the South Region, was established on April 3, 2001 as a public benefit corporation. After two years of effort by decision of the Accreditation Commission received approval from the state school and began its work. Significant expansion of the scope VŠERS happened to open its branch in Pribram. On 26 May 2004, at the ceremonial meeting of the city council signed a Memorandum of action in schools. Their degree programs focused on education and training of public administration, its institutions and organizational units. With a strong focus, depth and character studies, unequivocally follow-up to European standards and practices in the institutional and economic spheres, students will have a broad scope of knowledge and skills in the areas of management and organization of the various processes of public life. Graduates find jobs both in the public administration itself, its components and institutions, as well as in the sphere of non-profit organizations, social and community groups in the area of. College of European and Regional Studies, for more than 15 years of its existence, was attended by over 2000 students are currently enrolled in undergraduate programs of about 400 students.
