About the university
The College of Managerial Informatics and Economics was established in 2001. The reason for its inception was the lack of higher education institutions offering education in the field of informatics and economics. At the same time, it was also an attempt to offer a higher level of education than the existing post-secondary education. The first students went to school in 2002. Since then, the school has not only grown, but there have been changes in both the organizational and the curriculum. In 2002, we started with about 15 workers. In 2005, it's over forty. In 2001, the school received accreditation for two further courses of study - Informatics and Internet in Business and Business and Management in Business. In 2002 the school expanded its study offer in the field of Business and Management in the Environment. In 2006, the school opened an accredited Master's degree in Business.
