About the university
The Secretary of Planning and Quality was instituted on January 16, 2015, and with it, UNASA marked another step in the history of Salvadoran society. By decision of the top management is established as a direct rectorship unit with the purpose of formalizing the processes aimed at continuous improvement, quality of university work, make way for institutional growth and internationalization. One of the main functions of the Secretariat is to guide the planning process and measure the quality of processes at the institutional level. With the creation of the Secretariat, there was also the idea of seeking excellence through a Quality Management Model, systematizing processes and detecting strong areas and those requiring change, That guide in the way towards the continuous improvement and allow positioning and being a referent at national and international level. Undoubtedly, continuous improvement is a process that requires a well-founded organizational culture, teamwork and, of course, a committed leadership.
