The Technical University of Latin America (UTLA) was founded on May 1st, 1981. It is located in Nueva San Salvador, La Libertad, El Salvador. It is locally known as Universidad Técnica Latinoamericana. It is accredited by Ministerio de Educación, República de El Salvador. The races that were offered in the decades of the eighties and the nineties, were: Industrial Engineering, management option. Electrical Engineering, Maintenance option and Power Systems projects. Mechanical Engineering. Civil Engineering. Agronomic Engineering. Electrical Engineering, Electronics option. Master in Business Administration. Degree in public accounting. Master in sciences of the education. Starting in the year 2000, the University begins to receive training to adopt ISO 9001 standards, as an institutional policy, in order to enter an administration, thinking and executing its actions, in a continuous improvement, throughout the process Teaching learning, seeking at all times the satisfaction of the client, which in our case is the student, which is the reason for being, around which our educational model revolves, which is in process towards education by competencies.
