About the university
The original building of the School of Architecture of Montpellier was built between 1976 and 1978 near a building characterised as the "College of Scots, built in 1930 on a land acquired in 1924 by Patrick Geddes, famous Scottish city planner. It is the joint work of teachers and students of the school. The designers express their architecture through the generosity of the project reflection based on dialogue, critical inventive and debate of ideas. This building is composed of two large workshops opening onto two large exhibition areas, completely adapted to the activity of an architecture educational institution of as well as historically "dated".
