About the university
The Leibniz-Fachhochschule was developed in 2011 as a private university of applied sciences from the Berufsakademie Leibniz-Akademie eV. Our institution has been in existence since 1920 and has now offered dual and part-time and full-time courses in business and business informa- tion areas, both with bachelor's and master's degrees. For more than 90 years, the Leibniz Academy has already established itself as a specialist for business education at the Hanover site and has firmly established itself as an educational partner of the Lower Saxony economy. The academy was founded in 1920, initially as a training institution for commercial employees and civil servants, which was then consistently further expanded in the following decades. In addition to this, there are graduates in the economy and administration academy who continue to take part in professional and management tasks in the Lower Saxony economy. The partners of this training model in Hanover include some 100 companies such as Continental AG, WABCO GmbH & Co. KG, TUI AG, Nord / LB, ExxonMobil Production Deutschland GmbH, AOK The health insurance fund for Lower Saxony, Volkswagen Financial Services AG and Concordia Versicherungs- Gesellschaft aG, who have integrated the dual studies into their strategic personnel development.
