his joint program with the University of Bremen is research-driven and leads to a Master of Arts degree in International Relations: Global Governance and Social Theory. The fields covered are: theories and issues of global governance, changing context of global governance, theorizing social order and change, and methodology. A consecutive PhD is offered by the Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS), a joint project by Jacobs University and University of Bremen, funded by the German Excellence Initiative.
