About the university
The University of International Economics and Logistics (HIWL) was a state-recognized, private university in Bremen . In October 2016, it was taken over by the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef Bonn (IUBH) . Since then, IUBH has offered dual courses for logistics, marketing and tourism. The following dual courses are offered at Campus Bremen: Logistics Management leads to the Bachelor's degree after six semesters. In the three-month exchange, university and practice phases take place, a semester abroad is possible. The undergraduate courses Marketing Management and Tourism change weekly between studies and practical phases and provide for a regular study period of seven semesters. The IUBH Dual Studies is BAföG- capable. The IUBH Dual Studies is the Career Partner GmbH , the sponsor of the HIWL was the BVL Campus gGmbH . Together with the German Foreign Trade and Transport Academy (DAV) and the BVL seminars at the BVL Campus at the Universitätsallee 18 in the Technologiepark Bremen, the university is located in the immediate vicinity of the University of Bremen.
