About the university
The Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences was founded in 1991 and currently has a total of 2,200 students. The four departments offer courses in ten different subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Each course includes a practical semester or provides practical work experience extending over a period of weeks. We work in close conjunction with businesses and institutions from within our region. Research projects, practical placements and dissertations help students obtain management or scientific research skills which they can put to good use in their future professions.
