Kempten University of Applied Sciences

The University of Applied Sciences Kempten was founded by law on 27 June 1977. The official opening was on October 4, 1978. The Kempten University of Applied Sciences is the central institution of the Allgäu for academic teaching, further education as well as technology and knowledge transfer. The university is to ensure a practice-oriented, innovative training of specialists and executives. Most of the university buildings are located on the campus in Bahnhofstraße.
