About the university
The former WHL Scientific College Lahr was a subsidiary of the AKAD Group. Founded in 1996 by the state-recognized WHL University of Applied Sciences, Lahr was the former district of the Canadian armed forces in Germany in Lahr. In 2011 the transfer took place to the head office of the AKAD to Stuttgart. In 2015, the WHL Wissenschaftliche Hochschule Lahr was taken over by the European Education Group Deutschland GmbH with a continuation of the study program as Allensbach Hochschule, based in Constance.
