About the university
The Academy of Natural Sciences has been in existence since 1945. It comprises five state-recognized professional colleges - also known as vocational schools in other federal states - and a state-recognized university for applied sciences - University of Applied Sciences, nta Isny University. As one of the few educational institutions in Germany, it offers access to a Bachelor's degree in high-technology scientific education with a medium-term education, university entrance qualification or Abitur. Students of the Berufskolleg / Berufsfachschule (Fachhochschulreife für BW) can acquire their Fachhochschulreife for BW (valid for PTA nationwide), qualify for a higher educational path and thus for an academic career, through which they are taught in the MINT (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology) All doors open - whether in business, industry or research.
