About the university
Presentation of IdEF BRIEF PRESENTATION OF THE STRUCTURE AND FUNCTIONING OF COLLEGE IdEF The College of Francophone Studies (IdEF) began functioning in 1995 in partnership with the French Public University of Paris 13 - Sorbonne Paris Cité, with the aim of offering the university programs of Paris 13 in Greece. Students of the IdEF are regularly registered as students at the University of Paris 13, having the same status of student and receiving the same training as those who study in Paris. After successfully completing each cycle of studies (Bachelor's, Master's), the Paris 13 University delivers to the students of the IdEF its national diplomas in the same way as for the French students of Paris 13. The diplomas are signed by the President of the University Paris 13 and the Rector of the Academy and are recognized throughout Europe and in the world as diplomas of the Sorbonne. In Greece, recognition is carried out by the Council for the Recognition of Professional Qualifications of the Greek Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs according to Law 4093/2012 (FEK 222A). IdEF operates as a College through the authorization of the Ministry of National Education and Religious Affairs (YA 103548 / IA / 10-9-2012, FEK 2566B) and as a non-profit organization lucrative. The University Paris 13 and the College IdEF apply exactly the same policy with regard to their students. For this reason, great importance is attached to their admission, integration, orientation and success.
