About the university
UCNH is an independent, non-profit, private, non-profit institution founded in 1994. It is the systematic transformation of the Haitian Baptist Theological Seminary (STBH), founded 1947. The idea of founding a university by the leaders of the STBH led to the formation of a commission which, on 22 July 1993, was to present the constitution giving rise to this convention at the 29th congress of the Hague Convention of the Hague. A university that was signed by the STBH and the CBH, the Rector of the Jn Price-Mars University, Dr. Charles Poisset ROMAIN, the Secretary General of the Protestant Federation of Haiti, Mr. Edouard PAULTRE And other leaders of the Haitian evangelical world. Today the Christian University of the North of Haiti is presided over by Dr. Jules CASSEUS.
