About the university
Established in 1995 by the Haitian Catholic Bishops' Conference (CEH), the University of Notre Dame of Haiti wants to be private and open. Université Généraliste, it has the project to democratize higher education by making it accessible to the populations of the most landlocked regions of the country. In this sense, the Diocesan Units of Education, Research and Service (UDERS) are located in the geographical departments of the country. These Units each include a number of Faculties established according to regional specificities.
