About the university
The Catholic University of Honduras was established in February 1994, as a product of concessions between the authorities of the Catholic University with the Diocese of Choluteca, the Chamber of Commerce, the Municipal Office and the San José Obrero Association. It officially opens with a student population of 41 students distributed in the following three races: Marketing degree. Engineering in Computer Science. Industrial and Commercial Engineering. In March 1994 a director was appointed on the Campus and coordination and communication mechanisms were established with the Tegucigalpa authorities.
