About the university
Academy of Telecommunications and Engineering Academy Sandhy Putra Tel Jakarta or obtain permission to establish institutions and implement D3 Telecommunications Engineering Research Program in accordance with the order of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 94 / D / O / recruitment 2002 to May 13, 2002 by Dr.Satryo Soemantri Brodjonegoro, general director of higher education (higher education administration) at the time. Telkom Academy Jakarta on the initiative of Sandhykara Putra Telkom Foundation, which is the foundation of PT Telkom (currently integrated with Telcom Educational Foundation [YPT] / Telcom Foundation) was established to organize formal education, from preschool age (from kindergarten to university) high . The activity officially began lecturing since September 9, 2002 with the location in Jl. Daan km. 11 Kedaung Angke Urban Village, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia. Since 2012, the Telkom Academy of Jakarta has the value of accreditation B in accordance with the decision of the Higher Education Council of the National Accreditation Number: 015 / BAN-PT / Ak-XII / above sea level-III / VII / 2012.
