About the university
University of 17th August 1945 Cirebon or commonly abbreviated UNTAG Cirebon is a private college located in Cirebon City West Java.Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 (UNTAG) Cirebon was established on September 2, 1962, as UNTAG Branch of Jakarta. The establishment of UNTAG Cirebon can not be separated from the struggle of figures who originally founded the Company Leadership Academy (APP) Cirebon in 1961 led by D. Usman Imam as Director of APP Cirebon is a branch of APP Bandung. Finally APP Cirebon can not continue its existence. A total of 104 students sent their representatives to Jakarta to meet with Prof. Dr. Prajudi Atmosudirdjo then became Rector of Magnificus. On the advice he was allowed to form UNTAG Branch of Cirebon, which was supplemented by the composition of Foundation Leaders and Universities. For the efforts of Mr. Tikok Moch. Ichlas, a former Bupati of Indramayu, stood the Sunan Kalijaga Foundation as the Manager of UNTAG Cirebon and as Secretary of Mr. Waluyo who at that time served as Secretary of Cirebon Township. The Director of the Faculty of Administrative and Supervisory is Drs. R. Machfudz, Wedana Palimanan. In 1965 the State Examination was conducted and resulted in 13 complete undergraduate students majoring in Business Administration.
