University August 17, 1945 Jakarta is a private university located in Jakarta, Indonesia. This university stands under the auspices of the Foundation of Higher Education 17 August 1945 Jakarta. University of 17 August, was established two years after the University of Indonesia was handed over by the Dutch Government to the Government of Indonesia, by several nationalist figures. The University of 17 August 1945 Contemporary Jakarta, or more popularly known as the contemporary UNTAG '45 Jakarta, was founded on 14 July 1952 by nationalist figures of nationality and shelter under the Higher Education Foundation August 17, 1945. The name of August 17, 1945 is used in addition to perpetuating historic events The Proclamation of Independence, also the Foundation's commitment and objectives to the University, to realize one of the ideals of independence.
