AKPRIND Institute of Science & Technology (IST AKPRIND) Yogyakarta is a private university located in Yogyakarta city, with campus accreditation value (B). It is under the Foundation of Development Potential Development. IST AKPRIND was established initially as Academy of Industry and Industrial Technology Academy with SK Foundation on May 7, 1970 then on May 7, 1986 turned into AKPRIND Technology Institute with SK foundation no: 017 / YPPP / V / 1986. On May 12, 1987 it changed to the AKPRIND Institute of Science and Technology until now with the Letter of Decision of the Foundation Number: 003 / YPPP / V / 1987 confirmed by the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia with Decree No: 0145/0/1989 dated March 16, 1989 Based on Law Number 2 Year 1989, and Government Regulation No. 30 of 1990.
