About the university
State Polytechnic of Banyuwangi is a state polytechnic college located in Labanasem , Banyuwangi , East Java , Indonesia. Preparation of POLITEKNIK Establishment Banyuwangi Local Government begins from the wishes of the Government of Banyuwangi to establish State Universities in Banyuwangi. The plan was followed up with the assignment letter of the Head of Education Office of Banyuwangi Regency. On Tuesday, 8 May 2007, BAPPEDA of Banyuwangi Regency gathered a pioneering team to conduct an evaluation meeting on the establishment of Polytechnic of Banyuwangi Local Government. The results of the meeting agreed to continue the effort and seek a breakthrough, among others, with a study plan appeal to Poltek Pemkot Kediri to then revise the proposal of establishment of Polytechnic Local Government of Banyuwangi, refinement of MOU, letter of ability of Bupati and DPRD Banyuwangi.
