About the university
Sekolah Tinggi Teknik Surabaya (STTS) is a college in Surabaya, East Java. Initially STTS was named Institute of Electrical Engineering of Surabaya (ITES) which is located on the road of Bali no 17 Surabaya and under the auspices of Nusantara College of Technical College. In 1982 changed its name to College of Elektroteknik Surabaya (STIELS) located at Jalan Gubeng Pojok no 15 Surabaya. In 1985 just changed its name to STTS which is located at Ngagel Jaya Tengah street no 73-77. MISSION: Providing the best educational and teaching materials in the fields of science, technology and design, with some color of Indonesianness, refers to various international standards, adapted to the situation and conditions of social, economic, and cultural needs of the people of Southeast Asia. Conducting international standardized research in science, technology and design, as per the needs and social, economic, and cultural development of Southeast Asian people, using Indonesian-ness as part of the research element. Providing innovative and award-winning solutions based on science, technology and design for a range of social, economic and cultural issues, referring to international standards, particularly in the face of the ASEAN economic community market (AEC).
