Abdurachman Saleh Situbondo University was established in Situbondo on August 15, 1981. The higher education institution is fostered by Yayasan Pendidikan Abdurachman Saleh which was established based on Sapran Siswowiyoto, SH. Number 4 dated August 15, 1981 and subsequently amended by Notarial Deed of Lukman Hakim Gusti, SH. Number 9 dated August 12, 1999 and the latest foundation and founding charter issued by Notary Sholeh SH Number 44 dated 25 September 2010 and has been approved by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Number: AHU-83.AH.01.04.Tahun 2001 Date 10 January 2011. Faculty of the University of Abdurachman Saleh as many as 4 (four) faculty namely Law Faculty Law Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences study program of State Administration Science, Faculty of Economics Faculty of Management program and Faculty of Agriculture Study Program Social Economy of Agriculture which opened in year 1981 and got Registered status in 1986 based on the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 0395 / O / 1986. The registered status is then re-established based on the Decree of the Directorate General of Higher Education of Ministry of Education and Culture No. 275 / DIKTI / KEP / 1993, and the registered status is followed by several extensions of the study permit and the extension of the latest permit issued by DIRJEN DIKTI are as follows: State Administration Number 268 / D / T / 2008 Date 1 August 2008, For Management Prodi Number: 2684 / D / T / 2008 Date 11 August 2008, for study program of law number: 1623 / D / T / K-VII / 2009 Date 27 March 2009, for Agribusiness program number: 2683 / D / T / 2008 Date 11 August 2008.
