About the university
Based on the Decision BAN-PT (National Accreditation Board of Higher Education) High School of Technology Jakarta (STTJ) obtained accreditation "B" for 3 Study Programs namely: Civil Engineering. Machinery, Electro since 1998 and then in 2004 were re-accredited with the same status for the three courses. In 2006, STTJ received grant from Dikti for the addition and renovation of STTJ facilities and infrastructure. With the assistance from Dikti in 2006, STTJ succeeded in making an activity of repairing facilities and infrastructure and practicum equipment. In 2002 STTJ Electrical Engineering Study Program opened Master's program (S2) with concentration: Telecommunication Management and Information Management. Furthermore, in accordance with the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education number 1512 / D / T2007 dated June 22, 2007, STTJ has been approved to open a new Study Program, namely Industrial Engineering, Informatics Engineering and Information Systems. Furthermore, with the six courses / majors STTJ will develop the status of High School to Institut ie Institute of Technology and Business Jakarta (ITBJ). To anticipate technological developments, lecturers and students of Jakarta High School of Technology (STTJ) are given the widest opportunity to think and do development and assessment of technology that is useful for rural and urban communities by way of dedicating in the form of research results and experimental results of applied technology, where the results -the result of technology research and development is included in the Journal of Technology published by the Center for Research and Dedication to STTJ Society. The STTJ Technology Journal has been accredited "C" since 2004.
