About the university
Manado State Polytechnic is a state university located in Manado City , North Sulawesi , Indonesia. At the beginning of this polytechnic, the lecturers staff were trained at the Bandung Polytechnic Education Development Center . Meanwhile, in Manado, built infrastructure and learning facilities, as a forerunner Polytechnic University of Sam Ratulangi (Unsrat). The learning process begins for the following departments: Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Trading Administration. In 1991, coupled with Accounting. Permission for the implementation of Diploma 3 program for the Department of Accounting and Business Administration was obtained in 1993. In 1998, the Department of Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering was upgraded to Diploma level 3. In this year opened the D3 program of Tourism Department.
