Soegijapranata Catholic University

Founded in 1982, Universitas Katolik Soegijapranata (Soegijapranata Catholic University) is a private higher education institution located in the the suburban setting of the large city of Semarang (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Central Java. Officially accredited/recognized by the Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi (Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Katolik Soegijapranata (SCU) is a medium-sized (enrollment range: 9,000-9,999 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion. Universitas Katolik Soegijapranata (SCU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 35 years old H.E. institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 70-80% making this Indonesian higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
