About the university
Al-Ghifari University was established on August 15, 2002 based on Minister of National Education Decree no. 180 / D / O / 2002. The establishment of Al-Ghifari University was initiated by Sali Iskandar, Drs., As a manifestation of the vision and mission of the Al-Ghifari Foundation which is aligned with the national aspiration of Indonesia, which is participating in educating the nation in the field of higher education. The desire is realized by combining two High Schools namely STBA Jabar which was established in 1998 (now the Faculty of Letters), and STIE Jabar (now the Faculty of Economics), then added with three new Faculty ie Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (ISIP), Faculty Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MIPA), and Faculty of Agricultural Technology (TEKPER), became a university named AL-GHIFARI UNIVERSITY. In the journey from High School to Faculty, various changes were made from the infrastructure, curriculum and changes related to the progress of the faculties within the University of Al-Ghifari. Al-Ghifari University per Academic year organizes Education Care Program. The program provides the widest possible opportunity for the public to obtain educational services at Al-Ghifari University at a very affordable cost.
