About the university
Surabaya State Shipping Polytechnic, is a state university located in Surabaya City, East Java Province, Indonesia. Since its establishment in 1987, PPNS ITS is the only state polytechnic in the field of vocational education of shipping and oriented to marine manufacture. In implementing the link & match program with the industry, PPNS has strong cooperation relationship with the industry and is directly involved in the preparation of the six national competence standards and develops the teaching factory teaching pattern through the production of small vessels, design services, inspection, DT & NDT material testing, fabrication , Construction, etc. PPNS ITS always improve the quality of education, among others, by running the Award program from the Directorate General of Higher Education in the form of Grant Due Like, two Grant TPSDP and Grant INHERENT.
