About the university
Universitas Widya Mataram Yogyakarta (hereinafter abbreviated as UWMY) is one of the private universities in Yogyakarta City. The university was founded in 1982 by Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono IX and KGPH Mangkubumi by Notarial Deed No. 153 dated 28 May 1982. UWMY is managed by Yayasan Mataram Yogyakarta. Currently, UWMY Rector is held by Prof. DR. Muchsan, SH.
