About the university
Universitas Wiraswasta Indonesia (UWIN) was established in 1982 in Jakarta by Mr. Halim S. Tirtamadja, Ph.D. At the beginning of its establishment, the University of Wiraswasta Indonesia was led by a Rector named Prof. Mr. Sunaryo (Alm), former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. One of the founders and implementers of Youth Oath October 28, 1928 is much to give the message of education to love the nation and state. Universitas Wiraswasta Indonesia (UWIN) is granted permission to run higher education program from Kopertis Region III / Dikti / Diknas. When the government implements a new appraisal system at a university institution known as the Accreditation system, the University of Indonesian Entrepreneurs obtains Accreditation with rank B.
