About the university
Makassar Islamic University, abbreviated as UIM is one of Private Islamic Universities organized by Al-gazali Higher Education Foundation Makassar, having its address at Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan Km. 9 No. 29 Kota Makassar. Makassar Islamic University was established based on Minister of National Education Decree No. 71 / O / D / 2000 dated June 6, 2000, as a change of form and development of College of Agricultural Sciences (STIP) 1984 and Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Da'wah (STID), is the successor of ideals, And mission of NU Da'wah Academy (1966), UNNU (1968) and UNIZAl (1972).
