About the university
Kadiri Islamic University is a private university which is a unit of Higher Education whose establishment and management is carried out by Yayasan Bina Cendikia Muslim Pancasila (YBCMP). Kadiri Islamic University was established on June 20, 1983 by Yayasan Bina Cendikia Muslim Pancasila. The establishment of Islamic University of Kadiri received a warm welcome from the community, especially its scientists, especially also pushed directly by the Head of the Second Level Region of Kediri Municipality, with letters of Recommendation No. 421.4 / 574 / 441.16 / 83, followed later from Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) Number 05 / X / MUI / 1983, and several other community leaders in Kediri, which until 2008 Islamic University Kadiri has 6 (six) Faculties, 10 Departments and 12 Study Programs.
