About the university
Fukuoka University of Liberal Education is established on May 31,1949, as a consolidation of "Fukuoka First and Second Normal Colleges" and "Fukuoka Normal College for Youth", in accordance with the National School Law. Programs for primary and secondary school teachers is established. Program for Senior High School Teachers of Japanese Calligraphy is opened. Programs for Senior High School Teachers of Mathematics and Natural Sciences is opened. Program for Teachers of Children with Hearing Disabilities is opened.
