About the university
Founded from a school built primarily by a Canadian missionary in 1887, Eiwa Gakuin University and College is still considered young, however it is in fact a prestigious university backed by over 120 years of history. Naturally, with Christianity as its cornerstone, our approach to education and study is grounded in the spirit of “Love and Service”. As such, the campus is full of love. You will no doubt experience this for yourself when interacting with friends and teachers. In this uncertain world, it is important to define your own place and give thought to what you can put into society. At Eiwa, we will help you find this together through various different opportunities. There is a place which makes that possible in a small university comprising of just one department and college. Many classes are conducted in seminar-style from the first year. Here, strong interpersonal relationships are formed. Building relationships which are mutually-enhancing will provide great leverage upon entering society.
