About the university
Karaganda State Medical University - higher medical education institution in Karaganda, Kazakhstan. It was opened in 1950. In 1997 it was transformed into the Karaganda State Medical Academy. In 2008, according to the rating of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, KGMA ranks second among medical universities and 8th among 60 universities of Kazakhstan.
