Kokshetau State University received appendix No. 023 in the specialty 5B130100 "General Medicine" dated 23.04.2018 to the State License for Educational Activities No. 12019134 dated 11.12.2012. In 2018, for the first time, recruitment was carried out with a training period of 5 years +2 years of internship (with the qualification of a doctor). The form of training is full – time. The language of instruction is Kazakh, Russian, and English.A graduate who has completed 5 years of bachelor's degree + 2 years of internship is issued a diploma of higher medical education with the qualification of doctor, an appendix to the diploma (transcript) indicating the list of studied disciplines with grades, the amount of academic hours and a certificate of completion of the internship. The graduate is allowed to practice independently as a doctor in accordance with the procedure established by law in five areas: therapist, obstetrician-gynecologist, surgeon, pediatrician, general practitioner. Has the right to continue further training in a master's degree or residency program. A student who has completed 5 years of training and has expressed a desire to work in a specialty that is not related to clinical practice is issued a diploma of higher medical education with the academic degree of Bachelor of medicine, an appendix to the diploma (transcript) indicating the list of subjects studied with grades and the amount of academic hours. Bachelor of Medicine has the opportunity to continue their studies in the master's program. Since 2009.the training period is 6 years - 5 years of bachelor's degree + 1 year of internship in the general medical practice direction (with the qualification of doctor, academic degree of Master of Medical Sciences). The form of training is full – time. The language of instruction is Kazakh, Russian, and English.The Bachelor of Medicine has the opportunity to continue his studies in residency in narrow specialties and doctoral studies.
