About the university
Scott Christian University is a private Chartered Christian University in Machakos, Kenya. It was established by the Africa Inland Mission in 1962 as Scott Theological College, and named after AIM's founder, Peter Cameron Scott. Scott Christian University was granted charter by the government of Kenya in 1997 after reworking on its academic programs and operations. The University currently has three schools which include: School of Theology, School of Professional Studies and School of Education.
