About the university
The Kenya Aeronautical College was established in January 2003 as a training institution. We offer the following courses: Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Degree Electronics Information Engineering. Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering, Diploma in Electronics/Electrical, Diploma in Flight Operations & Dispatch, Cabin Crew and International Travel & Tourism. We are accredited to train by the Commission of University Education which validates our programmes and gives us the authority to collaborate. KAC has a proud record of academic excellence and affecting social change and development in aviation. It is also renowned for its beauty and strategic location at Wilson Airport in the City of Nairobi Kenya. Its proximity to the game park makes it unique in its own ways even to the visiting students or lecturers. KAC is a multidisciplinary college of engineering sciences and technology with an emphasis on Aeronautical Engineering and aviation related courses covering diverse fields as Airframes and Powerplant option, Avionics. Electrical, Cabin Crew, Piloting, Air Operation, Type Courses and languages. The college is collaborating with Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Kenya Aeronautical College also trains type courses in collaboration with AMETA, VIGILAND and Denel Technical Academy, all from South Africa and are approved by the South African Civil Aviation Authority as training organizations.
