About the university
The Catholic University of Korea was established in 1855 as a private university of the Catholic Church in Korea. It is Korea's first Roman Catholic seminary and higher education institution. The founding philosophy is "University of Human Respect", which is integrated with the Sacred Heart Women's University in 1995 and consists of three revisions. Currently, it has 8 general hospitals in Korea National University, including Seoul St. Mary's Hospital in Catholic University Hospital in Seocho-gu, Seoul.
