About the university
On this proud year of its 70th anniversary, Dong-A university is on the cross point of crisis and opportunities that have never existed before. I, as a leader of Dong-A university, would like to give you tremendous pledges and promises for the next four years. The spirit of our founder, Seokdang Jung, Jae-Hwan, who built Dong-A university on a sole purpose of historic mission of introduction of true education into South Korea which was under the chaos and dilapidation after the independence, is engraved in the hearts of Dong-A alumni and faculty members. I would like to open up a new future of our university bearing the history and tradition of Dong-A university and the great contributions of Dong-A alumni in my heart.
