About the university
It is located in Seokseong-dong, Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, and the elementary school is located separately in Hyoja-dong. It was established in 1939 as a school of education. It was reorganized as a two-year college of education in 1962 and a four-year college of education in 1983. In 1993, it was promoted to a four-year college of education. There are about 22,000 alumni who have graduated from college, and about 10,000 alumni are currently active in education.
